Tekni-Plex makes closure liners, medical tubing, high barrier films and thermoformed containers.
Tekni-Plex Inc. is acquiring the assets of Tech-Seal Products Inc., a maker of closure liners and inner seals in West Virginia.
Tech-Seal of Triadelphia, W.Va., near Wheeling, serves the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and industrial markets.
Tekni-Plex, based in King of Prussia, Pa., operates in the healthcare, specialty packaging and food packaging markets. The company’s products include closure liners, medical tubing, high-barrier pharmaceutical films and thermoformed containers,
Tech-Seal began operations in 1982.
The deal should close in August, Tekni-Plex said. |
